Details for Walks

MY CONTACT INFO:  If you have questions prior to booking your walk, please contact Margaret here.

WHAT TO TELL ME BEFORE THE WALK: Allergies, health, or mobility issues that might impact us, especially if you carry an epi pen. Please make a list or a note when you book your walk so that our walk is safe and comfortable for you.

WHAT TO EXPECT: A leisurely walk with several stops where we will gather and share for a few minutes.  Our walk will focus on our senses to create a connection with the natural world. We will be moving slowly between several different areas and . end with a spot of tea, bit of a snack, and a chat.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking up to a half mile. Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and bring a jacket if you tend to get cold. We will not be generating much heat through exertion since we will be moving slowly. Bring a water bottle and anything else you might need to be comfortable outside and possibly sitting on the ground. Some people like to bring a small lightweight stool or a lightweight folding mat to sit on.
